Whitby Gospel Music Convention Whitby Pavilion Friday 16th - Sunday 18th May Full Weekend Tickets £35.00 A convention that aims to bring together artistes from the UK, USA and Europe for a weekend of worship, witness and outreach, to glorify God, to bring non-believers into contact with the Gospel Message and to uplift and entertain believers. Artistes appearing and ministering for 2008 are George Hamilton IV, The Gospel Heirs, Live Issue, Ministry in Song, New Dawn, Paul Jones and Fiona Hendley Jones, Paul Wheater, Walter Stevenson, Inheritance, Michael Harcus Band, W.G.M.C. Marion Bishop, an elderly writer of romantic novels, is dying. Katherine Willis, a kind soul from the nearby village, looks after Marion in a most caring way, while coping with her own mentally retarded brother. When Katherine takes leave to attend her cousin’s wedding in Scotland, Laura, an experienced nurse from London, comes to take care of the failing writer on the recommendation of the local doctor. A series of mysterious phone calls & the appearance of Raymond, Marion’s rapacious nephew, set off a nightmare situation. Deceit, suspicion, blackmail & incrimination are subtly woven into a web of crime which culminates a dramatic confrontation scene. |
